A New Hershey’s Bar Is Hitting Shelves Soon

There’s no ignoring one of the biggest trends taking over the grocery store: protein. Over the past few years, consumers have become more interested in hitting daily protein intake goals and finding foods that will keep them fuller longer. Because of that, we’ve seen a resurgence in protein-rich foods, like cottage cheese and protein bars—as well as new high-protein foods hitting shelves. 

However, it’s not just the “health food” brands that are in the protein game anymore. Nowadays, some of our favorite and most recognizable brands are releasing protein-laden foods—like Cheerios protein cereal and bars, Barilla protein pasta, and Thomas’ protein bagels.

Even the candy brands are leaning into the trend. The Hershey Company owns two protein bar brands, Fulfil and One, and, since acquiring them, has released multiple products using the same ingredients as its fan-favorite candy. 

Fulfil’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar is made with real Reese’s peanut butter, and One has protein Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers bars and Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème-flavored protein bars. Now, One is expanding its Hershey’s chocolate-flavored protein bars with a new product.

The New One x Hershey’s Double Chocolate Protein Bars

The Hershey Company’s One brand is releasing a new Hershey’s Double Chocolate-flavored bar. 

The new protein bar is made with real Hershey’s cocoa and chocolate chips, but with only one gram of sugar. So, you’ll still get the indulgent chocolaty flavor, but in a better-for-you package. The One x Hershey’s Double Chocolate bars boast 18 grams of protein per serving, making them the perfect mid-day snack to keep you going until meal time. 

One’s new Hershey’s-flavored bars are currently available in select markets, with nationwide availability coming soon. They join One’s other popular flavors, like Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and S’mores, which all pack in 20 grams of protein.
