When it comes to bite-sized chocolates that are perfect for on-the-go snacking or a quick pick-me-up, Hershey’s Kisses are top of mind. Growing up, the silver-wrapped treats could always be found in my family’s home, ready for me to steal a bite whenever the craving came. Christmas time was particularly special since it meant the candy dish would have bright red- and green-wrapped Hershey’s Kisses, instead of the standard silver.
Since then, Hershey’s Kisses have expanded quite significantly. In addition to the Christmas colors, we’ve seen everything from Harry Potter Butterbeer Kisses to the cereal-inspired Cinnamon Toast Crunch Kisses hit store shelves—all with brand-new foil designs, too.
Now, Hershey’s is introducing a new limited-edition Kiss that’s designed to be savored and collected, rather than eaten right away.
Hershey’s Launches Collectible Pokémon Kisses
The Hershey Company
Hershey’s is teaming up with Pokémon to launch a fun new treat for fans: Hershey’s Kisses wrapped in collectible Pokémon foils. This special edition features red and white foil to resemble a Poké Ball, with 151 designs inspired by the original Kanto Pokémon characters printed on the bottom.
“Our collaboration with Pokémon combines the timeless appeal of Hershey’s Kisses chocolates with the joy of discovery and collecting—making it more than just a treat,” said Ashley Reeb, senior associate brand manager at the Hershey Company, in a press release. “The special-edition foils may spark a little friendly competition but also unite fans around their love for milk chocolate and Pokémon.”
To help fans keep track of which Pokémon Kisses they’ve procured, Hershey’s is giving fans the chance to win a limited-edition Collector’s Case to display all 151 unique wrapped Kisses, while supplies last. The best part? No purchase is necessary. All you need to do is create an account on Hershey’s website for a chance to win the case.
Hershey’s Kisses wrapped in Pokémon foils are available now at participating retailers nationwide—but only for a limited time. If you’re hoping to put together a Collector’s Case, complete with your favorite Pokémon, then you better get started on collecting them now!
