Summer is finally here, and with it comes a wealth of tasty new menus from all our favorite restaurants. Whether it’s Chick-fil-A releasing a new frosted lemonade or Taco Bell debuting chicken strips, we’re definitely excited to see what the new season brings to the table.

The latest restaurant to jazz up its menu? Everyone’s favorite seafood spot, Red Lobster. With the return of Crabfest, the seafood restaurant has added a ton of new crab-forward dishes, plus some refreshing new cocktails.

Red Lobster Introduces 10 New Menu Items With The Return of Crabfest

The annual event highlights crab with its headline dish: Crab Your Way—one pound of crab legs with your choice of seasoning, including this year’s new flavor, Old Bay & Parmesan. The new menu also features several summer-ready options, all of which focus on the popular crabmeat. Two of the most exciting options? The addition of flavorful seafood boils: the Mariner’s Boil and the Sailor’s Boil.

The Mariner’s Boil includes a Maine lobster tail, a dozen shrimp, and snow crab legs, alongside corn and tender red potatoes. Meanwhile, the Sailor’s Boil omits the lobster and crab and instead contains a tasty mix of smoked sausage and shrimp, plus the standard corn and red potatoes.

Diners will have the option to customize both seafood boils with three different seasoning combinations: Roasted Garlic Butter, Cajun Butter, or Old Bay seasoning. The seasonings offer a new and flavorful dining experience, and you might even want to make multiple trips to try them all.

If seafood boils aren’t your thing, there are still several tasty new options joining the menu. Steak lovers will want to try the Steak Oscar, featuring a juicy sirloin steak topped with lump crabmeat and finished with decadent cream sauce. Or try the Salmon Oscar, which swaps the steak for buttery Atlantic salmon.

Obviously, you’ll need a side to go along with your meal, and there are two premium additions worth trying this summer. Snag an order of the Crab-Topped Asparagus or Crab-Topped Potato to really commit to the crabfest vibes. For those who love starting every restaurant meal with a delicious appetizer, the Crabby Stuffed Mushrooms are a perfect solution, combining earthy mushrooms with a rich and savory crab stuffing.

Beyond meal options, the restaurant will also be adding three summer-ready cocktails to its drink menu. The Starry Eyed Surprise is a vibrant blue beverage featuring Patron Silver Tequila, guava, and blue curacao. The drink is finished off with Starry® Lemon-Lime soda and a sugar rim.

By contrast, the Purple Haze cocktail is a stunning magenta drink that highlights Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop with desert pear, fresh lemonade, and gold shimmer. Finally, the Passion Star Spritz offers a bubbly and refreshing sip containing Tito’s Handmade Vodka and passionfruit. Topped with Wycliff Sparkling Wine and garnished with a gold-dusted dried starfruit, it’s bright and perfect for summer.

If you’re wondering when you can drop in to enjoy these new items, you’re in luck! The new menu is already available, so you can get your seafood fix at your local Red Lobster as soon as possible.
