This $70 Aldi Find Might Seem Expensive—but It’s Half the Price of the Name-Brand Version

We love a good Aldi Find. We still can’t get over what a great deal the $15 Pottery Barn copycat was, but another round of Aldi Finds is already here. This week’s collection is all about summer must-haves, from camping cookware sets and juice presses to one item in particular that will help keep you cool all season long.

While the latter might be one of the most expensive Aldi Finds we’ve seen in a minute, we think it’s worth it, not just for the convenience, but because it makes keeping our drinks cold a breeze.

Aldi’s Ambiano Countertop Ice Maker

Aldi brought back its Ambiano Countertop Ice Cube Machine as part of this week’s Aldi Finds. It resembles the Igloo Premium Self-Cleaning Countertop Ice Maker Machine, but for much less. 

While the Igloo version will cost you about $140, Aldi’s Ambiano Countertop Ice Maker is only $69.99. We know that’s a bit pricey for our favorite money-saving retailer, but it’s still significantly cheaper than most countertop ice makers.

Although it’s less expensive, the Ambiano Countertop Ice Maker has many of the same great features. It makes ice cubes in just a few minutes and doesn’t require any chilling beforehand. Similar to the Igloo ice maker, you can set it to dispense small or large ice cubes, depending on your preference. Plus, it has a built-in function that helps keep the machine clean without any fuss or hassle on your end.

The Ambiano Countertop Ice Maker is available at local Aldi stores starting June 11. Better head over there to pick one up while you still can before the summer really starts to heat up!
